The Iball

The IBALL is a sphere just over 17 feet in diameter and weighs approximately 60 pounds. It consists of bonded plastic segments and can be inflated or deflated in less than 10 minutes. The IBALL keeps its perfect shape with constant airflow from a small blower that is placed inconspicuously within the sphere itself.
The IBALL can be used as a 3-D projection screen indoors as well as outdoors.

The IBALL was invented by Tina Kind in 2002 and served as the culmination
of her graphic design studies at The University of Kassel in Germany.
Since then, the IBALL has been displayed in countless capacities worldwide.

Iball is showcased here as an effective advertising medium at a 2004 sport sponsorship convention in Frankfurt

The logos of several prominent German companies (Licher, Eurosport, Telekom, Davidoff, Sportif, Ashurst, and Wiege) were projected from the inside of the iball and were visible from the outside.

I choreographed multicolored circulation of the logos through animation script I produced strictly for IBALL
