Content Elements

Content Elements in TYPO3 look like this. They can have different properties, like Text, Text with Image, HTML element a plugin or many more options.
A big difference to Wordpress is that you can copy them, clone them ( so the content only has to be edited once) you can automatically switch them on and off at a certain date.

You can sort them in Grid elements and also apply all those features to the grid element too. Of course you can also drag and drop them around.

Another great thing that Wordpress misses is the ability to switch them to hidden for later use.

This is the simple fast rendering backend view. There is also a much prettier frontend view available however if you work with TYPO3 a lot you prefer this view mode.
